What you need, and what to expect.
Honest limits, so you know before you buy.
You need
- A ChatGPT account or a Claude account. Free tiers work; paid plans give more files per Project and more messages.
- Three to ten things you wrote yourself. Posts, emails, messages. This is what the voice is built from.
- Twenty to thirty minutes for the setup interview.
- Something to say. The system refuses to invent milestones, numbers, customers or stories.

What depends on your plan
- Web research. The Research Content System asks your assistant to find sources. Whether it can browse depends on your platform and plan. When it cannot, it asks you for sources or marks the claim as needing verification. It never invents a citation.
- Reading your website. Same rule. If your assistant cannot fetch pages, paste the About page text during setup.
- Message limits. The setup interview is roughly twenty messages. On a free plan you may need to spread it over two sessions; type
/setup resumein the same chat and it continues from the last completed round.
What it does not do
- It does not post, schedule, or connect to X, Threads or LinkedIn.
- It does not scrape your social accounts. You paste the posts you want it to learn from.
- It does not guarantee a voice match. With three or more of your own samples the voice is sample-backed; with fewer it is labelled an inferred draft and improves as you add samples.
- It does not promise followers, reach, leads or sales. Results depend on what you publish and who reads it.
- It does not run on a PostLikeYou server. There is no account, no login, and we never see what you write.
Limits moveThe platform figures above were checked on November 3, 2026 against third-party reports of OpenAI's and Anthropic's published limits. Confirm them on the platform before relying on them.
